Radio Works

Ever wanted to be on the radio? Been harbouring disc jockey dreams or drive time
desires?
This is a whistle stop tour of the world of radio presenting. A two day workshop that
gets fingers on the buttons and voices on the airwaves, introducing the key skills
involved in hosting a show on the radio sale. Conduct interviews, compose jingles, brush
up on banter – and bring everything together in a bespoke broadcast.
In a studio set-up, we practically negotiate each element that will make up classic
radio. Introducing basic tech and core hosting skills and styles, as well as looking at
structuring a show and homing in on individuals preferences and strengths to create
one great radio show together.
